An All-Improv Electronic Jam Session with the Best of Chiang Mai’s Music Scene
Get ready for an unforgettable night of electronic music in Chiang Mai, as Unsaved State takes the stage for a live improvised performance.
This unique electronic jam session is a collaboration between three of the city’s most talented producers and synthesizer wizards: Aeonlights, Pete Wallis, and Jimmy (Electro Mass).
Together, they’ll create a free-flowing journey through the genres of acid house, techno, and breakbeat, using a variety of keyboards and music tech gadgets to create a custom-fit sound for the audience.
Aeonlights, a Finnish songwriter and producer based in Chiang Mai, will provide the melody and harmonics for the performance. Known for his synth-driven and melodic house music, Aeonlights has collaborated with many names in the industry and has had his music heard on labels including Black Hole Recordings and Universal Music.
Pete Wallis, the founder of Siam Modular, Thailand’s first modular synth company, will be responsible for providing the groove. He’ll spin in breaks and percussion, funky synth riffs, and elastic acid bass to keep the audience moving and grooving all night long.
Jimmy, also known as Electro Mass, is a drum’n’bass DJ/producer who has been an integral part of the underground music scene in Chiang Mai. He’ll be responsible for the energetic builds and drops, as well as providing the core beats of the Unsaved State jam.
The performance will take place at ReD CNX, located at 12 Huay Kaew Road in Chiang Mai, on Friday, July 14th, from 11pm to 3am. Best of all, the tickets are free, so there’s no excuse not to come and experience this unforgettable night of live improvised electronic music.
