A Breath of Fresh Air: Limeleaf’s New Breakfast Menu Delights in Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai’s culinary scene just got a morning boost thanks to Limeleaf, the charming eatery nestled amidst the lush greenery south of Chiang Mai.

With a commitment to fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, Limeleaf Kitchen is owned and run by British-born Chef Chris Richards-Jones. Their Sunday Roast has already become legendary among locals! Don’t miss it!

Now, Limeleaf has unveiled a breakfast menu that’s both delightful and delicious, beckoning early birds and brunch enthusiasts.

Stepping onto the grounds of Limeleaf is like entering a tranquil oasis. With a mix of indoor and outdoor seating, guests can choose to bask in the morning sun or enjoy the cool shade while savoring their meal. Dog owners rejoice – furry companions are welcome, and the surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities for a leisurely stroll.

But the true star of the show is undoubtedly the new breakfast menu. Crafted with the same dedication to quality that Limeleaf is known for, each dish is made with care from fresh, seasonal, and ethically sourced ingredients.

We couldn’t resist sampling the Eggs Benedict, a classic done right. Two perfectly poached organic eggs perched atop homemade English muffins, generously coated in a perfect hollandaise sauce. Each bite was all the right things – the richness of the yolk harmonizing with the tangy sauce and the satisfying chew of the muffin. It was, quite simply, delightful.

Limeleaf’s commitment to quality extends beyond the plate. They source their coffee beans organically, ensuring a morning cup that’s as ethical as it is energizing. From the smoked salmon to the bacon and sausages, every ingredient is carefully selected from Thai artisan purveyors, ensuring freshness and supporting local businesses. Even the salads boast a bounty of organic greens, reflecting Limeleaf’s dedication to sustainability wherever possible.

What truly sets Limeleaf apart is its passion for crafting nearly everything in-house. Their fermented black garlic adds a unique depth of flavor to dishes, while the homemade jalapenos and pickled vegetables provide a zesty kick. The feta and haloumi cheeses are made with care, and the limoncello and kombucha offer refreshing homemade alternatives.

After your meal, wander over to the charming on-site shop where you can browse a curated selection of local and Thai-made products. From Limeleaf’s own homemade delicacies to goods from other regional producers, it’s a great way to take a piece of the experience home with you.
